A primary bedroom in a 1916 Pasadena Craftsman that had quietly become storage. Original built-ins, beautiful millwork, and a window that gets perfect morning light, all hidden behind boxes, three different lamps, and a bed pushed awkwardly against the wrong wall.
The Room Revival engagement started with a layout plan that finally honored the architecture: bed centered on the long wall, original built-ins styled instead of stuffed, a reading chair tucked into the window nook. The moodboard kept the warm wood tones of the original house and added a deep green headboard, layered linen bedding, and a vintage rug. Curated shopping list, paint recommendations, and detailed lighting plan.
Now the calmest room in the house. The client said it’s the first bedroom she’s ever had that she wanted to spend Sunday mornings in.
